NUPER was founded in October 2017 in Seoul by a young and talented fashion designer, Shin Dong Jin.
NUPER is originated from the Korean word “누” which means the color turns yellow over time. The brand name is combined with 2 words: “NU” from “nuleohda” and “PER” from “person”. It means a person who appreciates history and indulges in reading old books.
Shin Dong Jin launched the brand base on his interest in Korean history and culture and included these elements into his designs. The NUPER brand infuses with many oriental aspects and details of Korean traditional clothes. This is also what the brand special about.
